Republican Donald Trump received 277 electoral votes in the election. This result is enough to become president of the United States.

The New York Times also cites the same calculations. At the same time, his opponent, Democrat Kamala Harris, received 224 votes.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the vote count, Trump has been in the lead, particularly in the so-called “swing” states that determine the fate of the election. Among these states where his victory was announced were North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
Thus, he secured a second term almost four years after leaving the White House.
