Sweden agrees on additional military aid package for Ukraine

On May 22, the Swedish government approved a package of additional military assistance to Ukraine totaling 75 billion kronor ($7.01 billion) for 2024-2026.

This was reported on the official website of the Swedish government.

It was also decided to allocate SEK 105 million to support the strengthening of children's rights and child protection in Ukraine and Moldova.

In addition, Sweden, through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), has decided to allocate SEK 30 million for the Save the Children program in Ukraine.

Earlier, on May 9, it became known that Sweden is donating 28 million euros to support Ukraine's defense capabilities. 18 million euros will go to three coalitions within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG), and another 10 million euros will go to the NATO fund for Ukraine.
