Zelensky on the exchange of political prisoners

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference in Kyiv.

According to Zelenskyy, Russians have a difficult time responding to requests for the release of our political prisoners, including Crimean Tatars.

“There are exchanges of prisoners of war, because we can exchange prisoners of war for prisoners of war. With the Crimean Tatars, you realize that they are being held illegally. So it is difficult to take them home. We need pressure from all partners to make the system of all for all work. Because it is difficult to do otherwise,” the president said.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine is working in this direction through partners such as the Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. But so far, success is what it is.
