Lithuania is studying the possibility of purchasing short-range air defence systems for Ukraine. The decision will be made within two to three weeks.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
‘We are also exploring the possibility of purchasing short-range air defence systems for Ukrainian air defence systems,’ Nausėda said.
He hopes that within two to three weeks ‘we will have a positive result and will be able to transfer these systems to Ukrainians as soon as possible.’
