Occupants attacked rescuers in Nikopol while extinguishing a fire

Russian troops attacked rescuers in Nikopol, Dnipro region. They were extinguishing a fire at the time.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

‘The night before, rescuers were extinguishing a fire in a private residential sector of the city, which was caused by a Russian drone. At that time, the enemy struck again and hit a fire and rescue vehicle,’ the statement said.

Fortunately, the rescuers managed to get to safety.

‘After waiting out the danger, the firefighters extinguished the fire on an area of 60 square metres,’ the SES added.

Five rescuers and one unit of fire and rescue equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the attack.
