The UK government has called on Russia to resume its engagement with the Forum for Security Cooperation (OSCE). This step was taken to end the war in Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to The Guardian.
Ankur Narayan, military and political adviser to the British delegation to the OSCE, said in a speech in Vienna that if Russia really wants peace, it can ensure that several points are met.
“Russia claims to want peace. It can ensure peace if it withdraws all its troops beyond the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine. Russia claims that it is serious about dialog and risk reduction. If this is true, it must seriously and professionally resume its engagement with the OSCE, which meets weekly, in accordance with the mandate given by our ministers,” he emphasized.
