This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development.

The Ministry's team met with Caroline Hennez, Minister of Development Cooperation and Large Cities of Belgium, and Jean Van Vetter, Chairman of the Belgian State Development Agency Enabel.

The parties agreed to start implementing projects to restore critical and social infrastructure in March.

In addition, Enabel plans to open offices in Kyiv and Kharkiv soon.

Enabel, the Belgian state development agency, has received funding for USD 150 million from Russian assets frozen in Belgium.

Consequently, the meeting discussed the possibility of cooperating in the joint project "HOPE" with the World Bank, which aims to restore housing damaged as a result of the hostilities, in particular by providing compensation. The project also aims to strengthen the capacity of communities to recover.
