Belgian and Hungarian journalists have discovered that Hungarian intelligence services may have been illegally spying on EU officials when they visited the country.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to an investigation by De Tijd and Direkt36.
In particular, employees of the Hungarian Information Office (IH) were spying on representatives of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).
The activities of the Hungarian special services date back to the period from 2015 to 2017, when OLAF employees were investigating the activities of companies associated with Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
