British Defense Minister Ben Wallace during a speech in the House of Commons on Thursday announced the preparation of a military aid package for the Ukrainian military for the winter period.
The European Pravda correspondent reports this.
"Support for Ukraine remains the Defense Department's top priority. We are helping Ukraine replenish supplies to continue the fight. As winter is approaching, we are developing a package to support Ukraine at this time of year, which will include in particular 25 thousand sets of winter uniforms. That way they (Ukrainians) will be more effective on the battlefield than their poorly prepared, ill-prepared, and poorly armed Russian counterparts," Wallace said.
During the report, the British defense chief added that London would continue to provide Ukraine with missiles for air defense systems in light of the ongoing and indiscriminate attacks on civilian infrastructure.
"We are proud to be the second largest donor of military aid to Ukraine. Last week I announced that Britain would give Ukraine additional missiles for air defense systems to defend against Russian strikes. We continue to supply high-level electronic warfare equipment that provides an additional layer of protection against long-range drones and missiles," he said.-
