Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has agreed to extend the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which allows the export of Ukrainian food.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Hurriyet.
"As you know, we are preparing to host Mr. Putin in Turkey in August. We are agreeing to extend this Black Sea grain corridor," he said.
Erdogan also noted that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres had sent a letter to Putin with a proposal to preserve the Black Sea grain deal.
"With this letter, we guarantee the continuation of the grain corridor through joint efforts between us and Russia. In this way, we will continue to solve the problems of underdeveloped poor African countries as quickly as we did together with Mr. Putin," the Turkish president added.-
