Former NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg to take up new position

Former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will chair the Munich Security Conference. This will happen in 2025.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Munich Security Conference.
According to the press service, Stoltenberg will begin work in February 2025. He will replace German diplomat Christoph Heusgen.
“I have devoted my entire political life to preserving peace. I am honored to chair the Munich Security Conference and contribute to its mission of peace through dialogue. Few international platforms are as important as the Munich Security Conference for promoting conflict prevention, dialogue and international cooperation,” the former Secretary General said.
