The German Federal Government has called on Russia to extend the so-called "grain deal".
This was reported by Tagesschau with reference to the Deputy Spokesperson of the German Federal Government, Christiane Hoffmann.
According to the German official, the German government is calling on Russia to make it possible to further extend the agreement on grain exports from Ukraine.
According to Hoffmann, disputes between countries "should not be resolved at the expense of the poorest people on this planet".
It is reported that the German government also expects that in the future the agreement will not always be concluded for a short period of time, but that it will be possible to export grain from Ukraine in the long term.
At the same time, Hoffmann did not comment on the explosions on the Crimean Bridge but noted that given the war in Ukraine, it is important to remind everyone once again that this is Russia's war of aggression against peaceful Ukraine.
