Putin said that they will start deploying nuclear weapons in Belarus in July 2023. That is, after the special storage facilities are ready - tentatively, on July 7-8.

What Lukashenko said about nuclear weapons

Alexander Lukashenko said that the Russian authorities would deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus "in the coming days." According to him, Minsk has all the means to deploy long-range missiles if it is ever needed.

"There is only one reason to use them: aggression against Belarus. And this decision will be an immediate response. I have said this several times. I think hardly anyone would want to fight with a country that has such weapons (nuclear - Channel 24). But you understand, God forbid, I will have to make a decision on the use of this weapon in modern times. But there will be no hesitation,

- Lukashenko fantasized.

In this context, it is worth noting that the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, stated that the nuclear weapons would allegedly only be stored in Belarus, but Russia would control them.

In response to the claims that these are Russian weapons, Lukashenko said: "If war breaks out, one call to Putin and we will launch a nuclear strike... He called, I picked up the phone, at any moment, even right now. So what's the problem with agreeing on a strike?"
