In Ukraine, medical institutions in 18 regions will receive generators to ensure uninterrupted operation in case of blackouts.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding the Ministry of Health.
According to the ministry, the generators will be sent to the Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytsky, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy, Luhansk, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Ternopil regions and the city of Kyiv.
"We continue to make our hospitals across the country energy-independent and ensure their uninterrupted operation in the event of blackouts," the statement said.
The Ministry reminded that Ukrainian medical institutions currently have 10,413 generators that will be triggered automatically in the event of an emergency.
