Only 386 abducted Ukrainian children were returned home from the Russian Federation.
This is stated in the report of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
The conference United for Justice: War Crimes against Ukrainian Children, was organized by Massey College, the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, Global Affairs Canada, and the Office of the Attorney General.
"The mass forced deportation of Ukrainian children is a crime the world has never seen before. For the sake of our common future, the world must respond," the Prosecutor General's Office said.
Leading experts from governments and the civil society sector will be looking for solutions to stop the deportations, bring the stolen children home, and bring to justice all those involved in this crime.
