Poland will strengthen control, which is still carried out on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding the statement of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland.
"We are in constant dialogue with the transport industry. During the last meeting, we agreed that the state services would strengthen the inspection of trucks on the Polish-Ukrainian border. This was one of the demands of the industry," said Poland's Minister of Infrastructure Alvin Gajadhur.
The head of the Ministry of Infrastructure emphasized that the government will also take measures in European institutions aimed at eliminating unfair competition in the transport market.
He noted that the upcoming summit of the Transport Council of the European Union, scheduled for Monday, December 4, is the moment when the EU should raise the issue of the consequences of canceling the requirement to have permits to enter the EU for Ukrainian drivers.
