“We are very much involved in the enlargement process,” Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel said in an interview on the sidelines of the Ambrosetti Forum, a conference held on the shores of Lake Como in northern Italy.
“We need to prepare for Ukraine's acceptance into the EU when it becomes possible,” he added. This process “will require financial and institutional reform, which we must take care of immediately.”
