The meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense, which was to take place on October 12 at the German Ramstein air base, may be postponed.
This was stated by US Department of Defense spokeswoman Sabrina Singh, RBC-Ukraine reports citing a briefing.
She recalled that President Joe Biden postponed his trip to the Ramstein meeting because of Hurricane Milton.
Singh also did not rule out that, given the circumstances, the Ramstein meeting could be postponed and combined with the NATO defense ministers' meeting on October 17-18. No final decision has been made yet.
“We are only now finding out. So when there are updates, I will definitely report them. As you know, the president canceled his trip just this morning. So we are working on those details. We'll let you know when we know more,” the Pentagon spokeswoman said.
