In addition, Belarus has been given the Iskander missile system, which can use these weapons, and aircraft that can carry nuclear missiles.

According to Putin, the decision to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus was finalized after the United Kingdom announced its intention to provide Ukraine with depleted uranium shells. Such shells are not nuclear weapons, and Russia itself does not consider them so. Putin himself has said that Russia has hundreds of thousands of such shells.
