Oct 18, 2022

Russian terrorist attacks target Ukraine’s energy and critical infrastructure. Over the past week, a third of the power plants have been affected.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter.

“Since October 10, 30% of Ukraine’s power stations have been destroyed, causing massive blackouts across the country. No space left for negotiations with Putin’s regime,” the President wrote.

Earlier, the Office of the President stated that missile attacks on energy infrastructure by the Russians could lead to power and water outages across Ukraine. In particular, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Dnipro and Mykolaiv were affected on 18 October.

As a reminder, the Russian army has been failing on the battlefield in Ukraine since August. According to British intelligence, because of this, Moscow decided to hit civilian objects.
