In September, Russian troops used chemical munitions against the Armed Forces of Ukraine 250 times.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that since the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion and as of September 24, 2024, 4228 uses of ammunition equipped with hazardous chemicals have been recorded by the enemy.
In particular, these are K-51 and RG-VO munitions, which are riot control agents and are prohibited for use as weapons of war.
There is also a significant share of ammunition containing dangerous chemical compounds of unspecified type.
The Russian Federation continues to grossly violate the rules of warfare, ignoring the norms and obligations under the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction.
