Scholz makes statement on arms supplies to Israel

Germany will continue to provide weapons to Israel. This decision was made by the German government.
According to RBC-Ukraine, this was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Tagesschau reports.
“We have supplied and will continue to supply weapons. We have made decisions in the government that will also ensure further supplies in the near future,” Scholz said.
It is also worth recalling that the CDU/CSU coalition recently accused the German government of failing to support Israel.
According to Merz, “a large number of companies” submitted written documents stating that applications for licenses had been submitted but not reviewed by the federal government for months.
