Some in the US want to force Ukraine to give up its territories to Russia

The proposals of some American politicians to force Ukraine to give up the territories occupied by Russia in exchange for peace are unacceptable.
This was stated by Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, RBC-Ukraine reports citing a press conference at the White House.
She noted that “no issues related to this war can be resolved without Ukraine.”
Instead, according to the politician, some people in the United States are trying to force Ukraine to give up significant territories and “there is a demand that Ukraine should leave its security ties with other countries.”
“These proposals sound similar to Putin's proposals. But these are not proposals for peace - they are proposals for surrender. This is dangerous and unacceptable,” Harris said.
