The Swedish government has announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, worth SEK 4.6 billion (about EUR 400 million).
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Swedish government.
This package is aimed at meeting Ukraine's top priority military needs and creating opportunities for future actions. It includes donations of equipment, direct purchases, equipment sets and financial assistance.
With the 17th package, Sweden is moving into a new phase of military support, focusing more on procurement than just donations. The package includes three large contracts for the purchase of priority equipment with a total value of about SEK 600 million (about €52 million).
