The Battle of Pokrovsk will be the culmination of Russia's war campaign

It is likely to be aimed at expanding a narrow ledge deeper into Ukraine and capturing the city of Pokrovsk.

The Guardian notes that Pokrovsk is important to the Russians because the city is a logistics base and the main transportation hub for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the newspaper, the battle for Pokrovsk is likely to be the culmination of Moscow's military campaign this year. However, if the Russians do capture the city, it will not be easy.
