Traffic restrictions imposed in Donetsk region due to hostilities

In Donetsk region, it was decided to introduce temporary restrictions on the movement of vehicles and people. In particular, it concerns representatives of public, charitable and humanitarian organisations and their vehicles.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the regional military administration Vadim Filashkin.

According to Filashkin, it is about the settlements where active hostilities are taking place in the Donetsk region.

‘In order to move and work in these communities, NGOs now need to apply in writing to the relevant military administration of the locality,’ Filashkin said.

If the security situation allows them to stay in the community without risking their lives, the military administration must issue a written permission to stay in the community.

‘I would like to emphasise once again that human life is the highest value, so we are doing everything possible to protect it,’ he stressed.
