Fires break out in Lviv and Cherkasy regions after ‘Shahed’ attack

Wreckage of downed Russian drones fell in Lviv and Cherkasy regions. As a result, fires broke out.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, on Telegram and the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, on Telegram.

The air alert in Lviv region lasted from 03:56 to 04:32. A single Shahed flew into the airspace of the region. Air defence forces destroyed the drone.

A fire broke out in one of the villages in Lviv region at around 04:30 as a result of the drone's wreckage. The building of a former collective farm caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by rescuers.

Three vehicles (1 truck and 2 cars) were damaged in the attack, and windows were smashed in nearby residential buildings. There were no casualties.
