US presidential candidate Donald Trump has said that he is likely to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week. This may take place against the backdrop of the Ukrainian President's visit to the United States to address the UN Security Council.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing Reuters.
Answering a question from media representatives about whether he would meet with the Ukrainian president, Trump said “probably yes.”
The Republican presidential candidate did not give any further details.
As noted in the Western press, in recent months, some other world leaders who have visited the United States for summits have also met with Trump.
