Russian Navy keeps Kalibr carriers in Black and Mediterranean seas

As of 06:00 on 20 September, the military again spotted Russian missile launchers in the Black and Mediterranean Seas. A total of six ships have been spotted.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the morning report of the Ukrainian Navy.

According to Ukrainian soldiers, there is currently one enemy ship in the Black Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total volley of up to 4 missiles.

Meanwhile, no enemy ships have been spotted in the Sea of Azov. However, there are as many as five ships in the Mediterranean, four of which are Kalibr carriers with a total volley of up to 32 missiles.

The Navy also informed that during the day, the Kerch Strait was passed in Russia's interests:

  • 9 vessels sailed to the Black Sea, of which 0 continued to the Bosphorus;
  • 5 vessels sailed to the Sea of Azov, of which 1 was heading from the Bosphorus.
‘Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems,’ the military added.
