Russian Federation strikes at a retirement home in Sumy

On Thursday, 19 September, the Russian Federation struck the city of Sumy. The Russians hit a retirement home for the elderly.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Suspilne.
According to Volodymyr Artyukh, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the Russians hit the Sumy Geriatric Nursing Home. As a result, there were some seriously wounded people who were hospitalised.
It is known that a Russian guided aerial bomb hit the nursing home. At the time of the hit, 221 elderly people lived there. The nursing home is currently being evacuated.
‘There are wounded, some of them are in serious condition and have been hospitalised. No one was killed,’ said Artyukh.
According to preliminary data, the main impact occurred on the upper floors of the facility, where 24 residents were staying.
