UK Foreign Secretary announced a humanitarian aid package for Ukraine

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron has announced a new winter humanitarian aid package for Ukraine in the amount of almost 37 million pounds.
This is reported with reference to the UK government.
The British Foreign Secretary will travel to the United States today, December 6, to reaffirm Ukraine's unwavering support in the fight against Russian aggression. On the eve of his visit, Cameron announced a new winter humanitarian aid package of 29 million pounds for Ukraine.
"Ahead of the visit, the Foreign Secretary has announced a new winter humanitarian response package of £29 million for Ukraine and will bolster support with a further £7.75 million for humanitarian activities that will focus on the needs of the most vulnerable in Ukraine, such as women, girls, older people and people with disabilities," the statement said.
It is noted that the allocated funds are part of the total amount of UK humanitarian aid to Ukraine for 127 million pounds for 2023-2024.
