On October 7, the governments of Ukraine and Slovakia signed four documents following intergovernmental consultations.

The governments of Ukraine and Slovakia have signed a joint declaration that sets out the key areas of cooperation: strengthening political dialogue, building good neighborly relations, and supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The document also certifies progress in the implementation of three key projects: reconstruction of the interconnector between the two countries, direct rail service, and modernization of border infrastructure.
The second document signed was a protocol on readmission, which improves the algorithm for returning citizens of Slovakia and Ukraine to their countries of origin.
The third document is a memorandum of understanding between the Ministries of Education of Ukraine and Slovakia.
