Ukraine hit more than 400 Russian targets with HIMARS

Sep 8, 2022

Ukraine has hit more than 400 Russian targets with HIMARS systems supplied by the United States.

General Mark Milley, head of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, said this at the Ramstein air base in Germany, writes European Pravda.

"We see real and measurable advantages for Ukraine in using these systems. For example, the Ukrainians hit more than 400 targets with HIMARS, and it had a devastating effect," Milley said after a contact group meeting to support Ukraine.

Milley added that hitting the targets strained Russian supply channels and reduced their combat capability.

"Command posts have been hit and they have difficulty replacing what was lost in the fighting and supplying their forces," he said.

Milley said all members of the contact group will continue to cooperate to give Ukraine everything it needs to protect its freedom.
