U.S. President Joe Biden's visit to Germany and participation in the Ramstein Group meeting will emphasize the U.S.'s deep commitment and strong support for Ukraine's transatlantic security and self-defense.
This was stated by the White House press secretary, Karin Jean-Pierre, RBC-Ukraine reports citing a briefing.
According to her, Biden's visit will be a powerful symbol of the renewed partnership between the United States and Germany and will make cooperation in solving the world's most pressing problems closer.
“This visit will emphasize the deep commitment and strong support for transatlantic security. If you think about Ukraine and Ukraine's self-defense, that will be a big part of this visit - and continuing that support, continuing to do everything we can to stop Russian aggression,” Jean-Pierre said.
She added that it is important to continue the dialog “because we see what is happening in Ukraine, we continue to see Russian aggression.”
“You've seen the leadership of the President (Biden - ed.) on Ukraine and what he's been able to do to make NATO stronger, to have the support of more than 50 countries that support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. And that's a big part - certainly that's going to be a big part of this trip,” the White House press secretary said.-
