Umerov discusses upcoming Ramstein meeting with Pentagon chief

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin held talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov.
RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to the Pentagon press service.
"U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin discussed the latest developments in Ukraine with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on the phone today," the statement said.
It is noted that they also discussed plans for the next contact group on Ukraine's defense, which is scheduled to take place almost at the end of this week.
The next meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense will be the 17th. The meeting was initially announced in the United States. According to Deputy Secretary of Defense Sabrina Singh, the Ramstein meeting will be held in mid-November. However, she did not name the exact date.
