The Russian PMC Wagner is leaving its positions in Syria, and Iran may take advantage of this to expand its control over the region.

Literally: "Wagner is leaving its positions in Syria to fulfill the ultimatum of the Russian Defense Ministry. Iran may take control of some of these positions to secure military assets and expand its economic operations.

Details: Wagner is reportedly leaving its positions in Syria, and Iran may take control of some of these positions.

On August 27, the Russian Ministry of Defense ordered Wagner's forces in Syria to leave the country or join the Russian armed forces by September 20.
