Zelensky reacts to postponement of Ramstein meeting
A new schedule of meetings of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense may be prepared in the near future. The leadership format of the meeting is particularly important.
According to RBC-Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this at a joint press conference with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.
The head of state emphasized that the reason for postponing the meeting in the Ramstein format is “absolutely obvious” - the natural disaster in the United States requires the maximum attention of President Joe Biden. Any leader in such circumstances would have stayed in his country.
“But it is the leadership format of Ramstein that is particularly important. Therefore, we understand that a new schedule may be prepared in the near future,” Zelensky added.
According to him, the Ramstein is the best place to coordinate with partners to implement the content of the victory plan. First of all, this applies to military points that will strengthen Ukraine at the front.
