As part of the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who is known for his support for Russia.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, this was reported on Zelenskyy's official pages.
Zelenskyy said he thanked Vucic for Serbia's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, humanitarian and financial support, and shelter for Ukrainians who decided to go there after the outbreak of a full-scale war.
"I emphasized the importance of Serbia's participation in the implementation of the "peace formula". We coordinated further contacts to expand global support for the formula. I informed President Vucic about the current situation at the front," Zelenskyy said.
He added that they also talked about "political and security challenges in Eastern Europe."
