Today, on October 9, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will arrive in Croatia to participate in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit. The meeting will take place in Dubrovnik.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Index.
The event was organized by Zelenskyy together with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.
This is the third summit in this format: the first took place in Athens in August 2022, and the second in February 2024 in Tirana.
The main goal of the meeting in Dubrovnik is to demonstrate the solidarity of the countries of the region with Ukraine, which has been resisting Russian aggression for more than two and a half years.
The event also gathers high-ranking representatives of the region, including President of Slovenia Natasha Pirc Musar, President of Montenegro Jakiv Milatović, President of Kosovo Vesa Osmani, and the prime ministers of Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
