Drilling of water wells has been completed at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. This is necessary to cool the shutdown reactors.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the IAEA.
"Ten groundwater wells have been completed at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant," the report says.
It is noted that this brought the plant closer to finding a long-term solution to provide cooling water for the shutdown reactors.
This became a problem after the destruction of the Kakhovka dam by the Russians.
