Occupiers are going to give housing to migrants in the Luhansk region

Jun 29, 2024

In the temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk region, representatives of the LPR group are going to "legalize" the transfer of residential premises with signs of "ownerless property" to Russian security forces, servants of the aggressor country, and migrants from Central Asia.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Center for National Resistance (CNR).

It is noted that the pseudo-organization "People's Council" of the "LPR" this week considered a draft amendment to the fake "legislation", according to which the occupation administrations will provide housing for use, which the invaders recognized as "mismanaged", primarily to employees of the "power bloc", employees of the "social sphere", and citizens who have lost their homes and are registered.

"The occupiers practice forced evictions from settlements close to the front line in order to use civilian buildings to accommodate the military," the Center writes.

Thus, according to the publication, the occupation "administrations" allocate similar housing for civil servants who are brought from Russia to work in the occupation authorities.

"Also, such apartments and houses are sold at low prices to Russians who intend to settle in the TOT of Ukraine. The Kremlin constantly encourages such resettlement, as it wants to fully Russify the occupied territories," the Center reports.
