This was stated by Chief of the General Staff of Belarus Pavel Muraveika, RBC-Ukraine reports citing BelTA.

"One of the latest arguments and theses that act as deterrents is the return of non-strategic nuclear weapons to our country. We have learned how to handle these weapons. We know how to use them confidently. We are able to do it. And you can rest assured that we will do it if our country's sovereignty and independence are threatened," Muraveika said.

At the same time, the chief of the Belarusian General Staff accused Poland of allegedly obstructing Belarus' accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and called it a “scarecrow” that Russia threatens the Baltic States and Poland.
