Slovak President Pellegrini and Zelenskyy meet for the first time

Newly elected Slovak President Peter Pellegrini met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the first time. The politician announced this on the social network X.
It is known that the meeting took place on Thursday, June 27, in Brussels.
"We discussed the recent joint meeting of our governments and discussed my plans for a full visit to Ukraine," Pellegrini said.
He emphasized that Slovakia supports Ukraine in the war against Russia and wishes peace for the Ukrainian people as soon as possible.
"Yes, sometimes there is a paradox in Slovakia that maybe rhetoric or political tactics are one thing, but I always tell our allies that they should judge Slovakia on the basis of reality, not a newspaper article, a headline, or some strong sentence," the Slovak president emphasized.-
