This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by the Ukrainian Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets during a telethon.

"A new mechanism for the return of Ukrainian civilians will soon appear," Lubinets said.

He did not disclose more details about this mechanism.

Lubinets also said that the issue of returning Ukrainian children and prisoners of war was raised during the peace summit.

"Regarding children. There were many new initiatives from sometimes unexpected countries. I cannot disclose the details, because we all agreed that this is a closed part, and we will make it public when we implement it, when Ukrainian society sees the results," the ombudsman added.

He said that several countries participating in the peace summit spoke about their capabilities to return Ukrainian citizens from Russia. At the same time, the number of members of the coalition for the return of Ukrainian children has increased.

Mr. Lubinets believes that new sanctions against Russians will help to return Ukrainian citizens. In particular, it is necessary to create a tribunal and impose a complete embargo on Russian oil and gas.

"Only then will the Russians realize that they really need to return Ukrainian children, civilians, and prisoners of war," he emphasized.
