State Emergency Service eliminates the result of strike on Vilnyansk

In Vilnyansk, Zaporizhzhia region, the number of people injured in today's attack by Russian occupiers has increased to more than thirty, and the number of dead remains the same - seven citizens. Rescuers have already eliminated the consequences of the shelling.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the State Emergency Service (SES).

"Preliminarily, 7 people were killed, including 2 children, and 31 people, including 8 children, were injured," the rescuers said.

Earlier, it was reported that twenty people were injured in Vilnyansk as a result of an enemy attack.

The State Emergency Service said that at 19:46, they extinguished the fire of buildings and cars in the city at the site of the occupiers' attacks.

"The fire was extinguished in two places at the same time: a two-story building and an extension, in addition to nearby cars, on an area of 300 square meters, and two one-story buildings on an area of 150 square meters," the rescuers said in a statement.

The rescuers added that search and rescue operations at the site of the impact have been completed.

"Law enforcement officers, medics, paramedics, and employees of the Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society were working at the site. The State Emergency Service engaged 50 rescuers and 9 vehicles to eliminate the consequences of the shelling," the rescuers said.
