More than 3,000 crimes committed by the Russian army have been documented only in the Kyiv region. Over 15 invaders have already been suspected.
This was announced by Chief of the Police of Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov on a telethon, Ukrinform reports.
“More than 3,000 crimes committed by the army of the Russian Federation have been documented in the Kyiv region. On many issues, we are cooperating with the Security Service and other security forces to identify directly those who were in the Russian army in the Kyiv region. And only according to the police, more than 15 suspects have already been served with charges, ” Nebitov said.
He added that it was important to make the Russian occupiers accountable under national law and to put them on the wanted list, “so that they would feel comfortable only in Russia and nowhere else in the world”.
As a reminder, the Kyiv region was liberated on April, 2. Then, the withdrawal of the Russian army from the settlements of the Kyiv region they had captured, including Hostomel, Vorzel, Bucha, Irpin, Borodyanka, Dmytrivka and other, revealed to the Ukrainians and the whole world horrifying facts about the most severe mass international crimes committed by the Russian troops. Hundreds of Ukrainian civilians were tortured and then killed there.
Not in vain, the crimes of the aggressors are called “Genocide of Ukrainian people 2022”.
