The UK to transfer depleted uranium shells for Challenger 2 to Ukraine

Great Britain will transfer to Ukraine depleted uranium shells intended for Challenger 2 tanks.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of Britain's Deputy Minister of Defense Annabel Goldie.
"Alongside our granting of a squadron of Challenger 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine, we will be providing ammunition including armour piercing rounds which contain depleted uranium," she said.
According to her, such rounds are highly effective in defeating modern tanks and armoured vehicles.
We shall remind you that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that Challenger 2 tanks would arrive in Ukraine in March.
