U.S. to expand training of Ukraine's military to change war dynamics

Jan 30, 2023

The United States and its allies will try to change the dynamics of hostilities in Ukraine by expanding training of the Ukrainian military in conducting general combat operations with the use of infantry, tanks and artillery.

This was reported by The New York Times.

Out of concern that the freezing of the conflict could play into Russia's hands, the United States and its allies have begun to discuss more actively in recent weeks how to change the dynamics on the battlefield in favor of Ukraine.

To achieve these goals, the United States and its allies should not only increase the supply of weapons, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and artillery, "but also expand training for the Ukrainian military" so that they can "use all the new equipment in conjunction."

"It will be a crash course in what the U.S. military calls total warfare, which the U.S. military has perfected through months, if not years, of training," the article says.

As reported earlier, the United States has launched expanded training for the Ukrainian military in Germany.
