Large occupiers` airbase found on Arabat Spit
The Russian invaders have created a large air base with helicopter landing sites in the south of the Kherson region. It is located on the territory of the Khvylya resort in the village of Strilkove on the Arabat Spit, near the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Twitter (X) of the analysts of the Tatarigami_UA group.
The publication notes that while public attention was focused on the airfields controlled by Russian troops in Luhansk and Berdiansk, the interventionists "set up secret helicopter bases and FARPs in different places" (Forward arming and refueling point is a NATO term for forward arming and refueling points).
The analysts added that the decision to release satellite images of this air base in Stilkove, Kherson region, was made against the backdrop of recent strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces against enemy targets in the region.
