Russia attacked a port in Odesa region at night: granaries damaged

On the night of August 16, Russian occupiers attacked Odesa region twice with kamikaze drones. One of the ports was again attacked by the enemy.

This is reported with reference to the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper on Telegram.

According to him, the main target of the occupiers was again the port and grain infrastructure in the south of the Odesa region.

As a result of the attack, one of the ports on the Danube was hit. Warehouses and granaries were damaged. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service quickly extinguished the fires that broke out due to the shelling.

Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the enemy attack.

As a reminder, after withdrawing from the grain deal, Russia has been attacking Ukraine's port and grain infrastructure. In particular, the ports of the Odesa region are under attack.

In addition, the invaders have repeatedly attacked the port of Izmail, which is located near the border with Romania.
